Road trip in Alaska and DENALI National Park
May 2-18, 2019
Two-week road trip to Alaska. I started with Anchorage, then Chugach State Park and Portage Glacier. I then spent a week exploring Denali National Park, where I saw grizzly bears, caribou, and Dall sheep. and I finished my trip with a few days on the Richardson Highway, where I saw glaciers, mountains and lakes.

September 5 - Arrival in Anchorage and 1st night at the Base Camp hostel (dormitory $37)

September 8 - Direction Exit glacier. Departure around 9:00 from the glacier approach walk to the point Top off the Cliffs 747m 3.9 km (11h). Return around 12:45, a little more than 3:30 of walking

from September 10 to 14, 5 days / 4 nights at Teklanika River Campground (altitude 600 meters)

September 14 to 15 - Night at Billies backpacker in dormitory (27$ + tax)
Departure from Fairbanks, on the Richardson highway slowly until around Donnelly creek
Bivouac near the pipeline (in the back) and very beautiful view (in front) of the mountain range with snow-capped peaks (including 3 between 3639 m and 4216m). Animal calls at night: owl and can -be coyotes?
