20 janvier - Departure from Coyhaique by bus to Las Horsqueta to start the Cerro Castillo trek. I chose to do it over 3 days but it is better to do it over 4 or even 5 days. Cost of 5000 CLP to pay at the CONAF hut at the entrance. January 21 - Crossing a snow-covered pass. La Tetera camp facing the snow-capped mountain of Cerro Castillo. January 22 - Return and descent via the emergency path (very steep)

Mercredi 24/01 - Departure from Puerto Rio Tranquilo around 9:00 am to approach the Conaf hut around 10:30 am. X-728 track for 1h30. Approach walk on the morraine then hike in crampons. Return around 5 PM
